Daniel grew up in São Paulo, studied Advertising and Marketing in his hometown, and kicked off his career whilst working with the best creatives at AlmapBBDO and F/Nazca Saatchi&Saatchi. By 2004 he was part of the Brazilian delegation of Young Creatives at Cannes.
Daniel continued building an award-winning career, and in 2005 he moved to Y&R São Paulo as an Art Director, during this time the agency was recognized as one of the most awarded agencies in Cannes, taking one of the top 5 places as most awarded agencies in the world in 2012. Later on, he joined Leo Burnett Dubai as Creative Director.
After having worked in advertising for over 20 years, he sizes the opportunity and takes the decision to join Zombie Studio as a partner, creative director, and film director, leading the studio to be awarded the Best Production Company at the London International Awards – LIA, in 2019. In the same year Daniel was ranked the 2nd most awarded Creative Director in the world at Cannes Global Creativity Report.
He has won 150+ awards across festivals worldwide, including 21 Cannes Lions, 10 D&AD pencils, 3 Grand Prix at Cannes, 2 Grand Clios, 2 Grand LIAs, 1 Best of Disciplines at One Show, 1 Grand Effie and many other shows such as Epica, Dubai Lynx, Webby and El Ojo de Iberoámerica among others.
