JULIANA CURIJuliana Curi is a Brazilian film director and visual artist represented by The Maestros in Mexico.
She finds in the Feminism most part of her expressive territory, with projects on female empowerment for brands such as Avon, Dove, Neslté and the exhibitions Pink Intervention at Spotte Art New York Gallery and The Battle of the Body at Centro Cultural São Paulo.
She started her career in the creative department of MTV Brazil developing the visual identity of the channel and several campaigns for HIV, politics, citizenship and environment. Since then has been working for agencies like Ogilvy Paris, AKQA and Facebook Creative Shop as well as brands like Visa, Sony and Mastercard.
Juliana is currently living in New York where she has been doing projects such as the performance program Dynamic Encounters at the Museum of Modern Art of New York (Moma) and Stories in the Social Landscape at ICP (International Center of Photography). This year she directed the Film-Manifesto “Stereotypes” to launch “More Grls”, the first roadmap to female talent in advertising in Brazil.
