RODRIGO SAAVEDRAAs an advertising creative Rodrigo Saavedra travelled the world working for agencies like Mother London, WK Amsterdam, Santo Buenos Aires and Africa São Paulo – before deciding to focus on directing.
A natural storyteller, Rodrigo has directed films for global brands such as Dropbox, Corona, Nissan, Renault, Kit Kat, Cadillac and Volkswagen. His work for Scrabble won multiple awards, from D&AD to One Show to Cannes. After it quickly went viral, Time magazine described it as “the perfect love story for word nerds”.
Last year Rodrigo premiered his branded short film ‘The Red Stain’ at Sundance. The film was a comedy written and directed by him for the Francis Ford Coppola Winery and is already scoring at award shows such as the One Show and AICP.
