Tim Case started his career in New York, cutting his teeth as a sales rep with ad legend Ray Lofaro of Directing Artists. Case then rode the South African wave of talent by joining forces with Peter Smillie of Smillie Films, repping the company in the New York and mid-West regions.
Case followed up by launching his own independent representation firm Creative Management Partners (CMP). Within five years Case was the leading representative of commercial directors in the world, employing 30 agents in print and film who were focused on talent at RSA, Academy, MJZ, Paul Weiland, Gorgeous, Harvest, Plum, Godman Premiere Heure, and on and on.
The early 2000s saw Case shutter the commercials representation division at CMP to focus on Minder, a bicoastal production company later renamed Supply&Demand partnering with Managing Director Charles Salice to deliver unique, memorable and deeply rewarding ads to clients across America and the International market. The company also offers clients access to its design, animation and editorial division.
Sponsoring director’s short films has also been a passion for Case, recent projects including “The Tsunami & The Cherry Blossom,” compelling work nominated for Best Documentary Short at The 84th Annual Academy Awards. Case also exec produced on the compelling feature “Blackfish.”
