
Winners for CICLOPE Latino 2023 were announced on Thursday May 25th in an awards ceremony held at MIS, in São Paulo. In its eighth edition, the event celebrated the most well-crafted commercials, music videos and short films made by Latin American professionals for the region’s market.
A jury chaired by Ezequiel Ortiz (Rebolucion | Argentina), Vanessa Hernández (Stink Films | Mexico) and Murilo Melo (Gut | Brazil) chose – among 200 entries – the best works in 14 categories, including Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Animation, VFX and Casting, among others. The jury included Yune Aranguren (ABI | Mexico), Thatiane Almeida (Magma | Brazil), Rodrigo Grau (Isla | Argentina), Jessica Apellaniz (Wieden+Kennedy | Mexico), Robert Llauró (Landia | US), Nathalia Teixeira (Mercado Livre | Latin America), Martin Watson (Pepsico | Latin America) and Patricia Gaglioni (Wieden+Kennedy | Brazil), among many others.
The panel recognized the very best entry in each category and awarded a Grand Prix to the most extraordinary work in the competition: “Shout – Movistar“, which was directed by Vellas, produced by Rebolucion and created by VMLY&R Mexico. You can find the complete list of winners here.
Lastly, two special awards were announced: Production Company of the Year and Agency of the Year. This award is based on a scoring system in which a finalist receives ONE point, a category winner gets THREE points and a Gran Prix gets SEVEN points. In this edition, the trophies went to:

Agency of the Year: Ogilvy
