Originally from Brazil, Adolpho Veloso’s recent work on Jockey – directed by Clint Bentley and starring Clifton Collins Jr. – earned him a Spotlight Award nomination from the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC). Adolpho’s accolades further include Torino Underground Cinefest’s Best Cinematography Award for the Brazilian drama, Rodantes, and the Best Cinematography Award at the Mostra de València for Mosquito, that also earned him both the Brazilian Society of Cinematographers award and the Portuguese Society of Cinematographers award for Best Cinematography. Adolpho has also lensed several music videos, earning him two Cameraimage nominations. His work on the documentary On Yoga the Architecture of Peace earned him a Golden Frog nomination and the IMAGO International Award for Best Cinematography.
