Kacho López Mari, born May 16, 1975, is a Puerto Rican filmmaker and co-founder of production company Filmes Zapatero. His career includes collaborations with a host of renowned artists such as Bad BunnyJuanesCalle 13Ricky MartinTego CalderónDaddy YankeeResidente, and many more.

He is a seven-time Latin Grammy Award nominee, securing two wins for his work on Ojos Color Sol (Calle 13) featuring actors Gael García Bernal and María Valverde, and Juanes‘ Loco de Amor. His project with JuanesMis Planes son Amarte, marked Latin music’s first visual album, got him his sixth Latin Grammy nomination in 2018. López Mari’s El Apagón – Aquí vive gente for Bad Bunny was nominated at The Shots Awards of the Americas 2023 in the Music Video of the Year category, and shortlisted at Cannes Lions 70 in Entertainment’s Excellence in Music Video. El Apagón also received a nomination for the Video for Good category at the VMAs 2023. In August 2023, Premios Rolling Stone en Español nominated his Canción Desaparecida music video by Juanes, in the Videoclip del Año category.

His videos have been selected for official showcases in music video festivals across Berlin, Los Angeles, Toronto, Buenos Aires, Bogota, and Sao Paulo.
