Enrique Kike Renta is one of the most influential creative leaders in the Caribbean and Latin America and a driving force behind Puerto Rico’s global recognition in advertising. As Chief Creative Officer of DDB Latina Puerto Rico, he has led the agency through a historic run of international accolades, including multiple titles as Agency of the Year and more than a dozen Cannes Lions, highlighted by a Grand Prix win at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. 

In 2025, Renta was named Best Creative in Ibero-America at El Ojo de Iberoamérica after his groundbreaking campaign Tracking Bad Bunny for Rimas Entertainment won three Grand Ojos and dozens of additional metals, marking one of the most successful performances ever for a Puerto Rican agency. 

Over his career, he has built a reputation for transforming deeply Puerto Rican cultural insights into globally resonant ideas – helping position the island as a creative powerhouse. His work has earned recognition at the industry’s most prestigious competitions, including Cannes Lions, Effie Global, Clio, and El Ojo, and he has also served as a jury member at Cannes Lions, evaluating some of the world’s best creative work. 

Renta began his career as a copywriter at FCB and later founded EJE Sociedad Publicitaria, a pioneering agency in Puerto Rico’s modern advertising landscape. 

Beyond advertising, he is also an accomplished visual artist whose work is held in the permanent collections of the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, Museo de Arte de Ponce and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico

Through a career spanning four decades, Enrique Renta has consistently pushed Puerto Rican creativity onto the global stage – proving that ideas rooted in culture can travel the world.
