Jose Mario Muñoz is Executive Creative Director at GUT Mexico and a founding member of the office, with more than 15 years of experience in the advertising industry. Prior to joining GUT, he held creative roles at global agencies including Ogilvy, JWT, BBDO, and Y&R. Throughout his career, he has led influential work for Victoria, helping shape the Día de Muertos narrative in contemporary advertising, as well as for Corona, NotCo, Pedigree, Doritos, Michelob Ultra, Mercado Libre, and many more.
His work has been recognized across major international advertising festivals, as well as international film festivals through the stop-motion short film My GUT Friend, which has been selected and awarded internationally. Over the years, his work has received top honors at Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, and CICLOPE.
