Rejane Bicca is a Production Manager at O2 Filmes and has worked with them since 1997.

Born in the city of Porto Alegre (RS), she has a BA in Social Communication at PUC – RS and obtained a specialization in Marketing in London, England.

Rejane has been an Executive Producer for over 20 years, working closely with top brands and global accounts.

Already at O2, in 2003 she also lived through the production and international acclaim the film Cidade de Deus received. The feature disrupted movie-making, breaking paradigms and remains to this day the only Brazilian production to be nominated to 4 Academy Awards. Since then, she headed multiple projects that won both national and international awards. In 2019, Rejane was one of the judges at CICLOPE Film Festival in Berlin, Germany and was awarded Best Production Manager at Clube de Criação “Melhores do Mercado” (Best in Market).

Early in her career, the producer already was aware of and committed to gender equality in the audiovisual market and female presence in Brazilian advertising. Given her expertise and sharp eye, another one of her roles is to support our O2 directors and to scout talent to tell the stories the studios project with our distinguished narrative and differentiation.

Since January 2024, she writes a column for the site Women to Watch, an initiative of the marketing journal Meio e Mensagem focused on themes such as women representation in marketing and communication.
