Alexis Ospina is a publicist and musician. He started working in local agencies for a couple of year. Then, he worked almost 4 years at Ogilvy & Mather Bogotá. In 2007, he went to Leo Burnett Colombia as a Creative Director. In 2013, he was named Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett Costa Rica, taking first place in creativity of the region. Two years later, he was moved to Leo Burnett Mexico. In July 2017, he was named Chief Creative Officer of VMLY&R Mexico. In 2020, he was named Executive Creative Director of Circus Media Monks in Mexico and Colombia. In November 2022, he took over as CCO of Grey Mexico.
Throughout his career, he has worked with brands like Netflix, Spotify, Apple, Samsung, Google, Ab InBev, P&G, Coca-Cola, KFC, Uber, Volvo, Constellation Brands, Don Julio, AT&T, Essity, Pizza Hut, Ualá, Cemex, Paypal, Kellogg’s Latam, GM, Bimbo, A&E Networks, Bridgestone, Go Daddy, Sanofi, Danone, League Against Cancer, Pfizer, Azteca Bank, Save the Children, Chrysler, Jeep, Mercedes Benz, Kia, McDonald’s, DirecTV, Juan Valdez Coffee, Movistar, Firestone, Axa, Citibank, Red Cross, SAP, Kraft Foods, DHL, Telefonica, among others.
Alexis has won awards at major festivals such as Cannes Lions, winning the first ever Grand Prix for Colombia in 2014, and first Gold Lion Radio Campaign in the history of Colombia in 2010. In 2010, he won the first Pencil in the history of Colombia in D&AD and won the first Grand Prix and first Gold in the history of Costa Rica in the Art Directors Club 2014.
He also got more than 400 prizes at international and local awards like Cannes Lions, D&AD, Andys, One Show, Effies, Clio, London International Awards, ADC, Webby, New York Festivals, Ojo de Iberoamerica, Epica, FIAP, El Sol, Wave, among others.
