Javier Juliá is a Director of Photography graduated from Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires where he specialized in cinematography.

Throughout his career he has worked in both branded content and feature films. His work in commercials has led him to collaborate with renowned directors like Armando BoAugusto Giménez ZapiolaJuan CabralAgustín AlberdiRodrigo Saavedra, among others, and he has participated in films that have been acclaimed at international festivals and award shows. Some of his highlights include Relatos Salvajes (directed by Damián Szifron) and Argentina, 1985 (directed by Santiago Mitre), both nominated for Best International Feature Film at the Oscars, as well as El Último Elvis (directed by Armando Bo), The Absence of Eden (directed by Marc Perego), To Catch a Killer (directed by Damian Szifron), etc. One of his latest projects is Dovecote, a short film directed by Marc Perego that was part of the last edition of the Venice Biennale and has been selected among the shortlisted projects to compete for Best Live Action Short Film at the 97th Academy Awards.

For his commercial work he has been recognized by major advertising award shows like CICLOPECannes LionsAICP, ClioOjo de Iberoamerica, etc. Moreover, he has been also recognized for his work on feature films, winning three times the Premio de la Academia Argentina de Cine, as well as being awarded at the Premios CóndorADF (Argentine Association of Cinematographers) and received three nominations at the Premios Platino.
