Paloma Torras was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied at the Universidad del Cine and has been part of the audiovisual industry for 10 years.

She began her career in fiction, working with directors such as Lisandro Alonso, Martín Rejtman, Martín Shanly, Nele Wohlatz, Mariana Sanguinetti, Renzo Cozza, Konstantina Kotzamani, among others. She produced films and short films that premiered at international festivals like Cannes, Berlinale, Mar del Plata, Venezia, Viennale, and more.

Over the years, she also ventured into advertising. She always preferred working as a freelance producer until 2022 when she received a call from Rafael Nir, founder of La casa de al lado – an emerging boutique production company in Buenos Aires – and decided to join as an Executive Producer.

She has worked with brands like Adidas, Ford, Miller Genuine Draft, Levi’s, American Airlines, Mercado Libre, BBVA, Bimbo, Avon, Dove, among others. She has also worked on music videos for artists such as Tini, Wos, Trueno, Emilia Mernes, Julieta Venegas, and more.

As a producer, she firmly believes in the importance of supporting both the director’s and the brand’s vision to craft a message that resonates on an instinctive level. She believes that, from the production side, it’s essential to adapt to and uphold the significance of the director’s vision & the story, ensuring it comes to life with authenticity and impact. She enjoys discovering and nurturing new talents in this creative odyssey.
