With nearly 20 years of experience, Iuri Maia has worked for multinational consumer goods companies, including Reckitt Benckiser, and has held strategic leadership positions in international advertising agencies such as PublicisY&R, and Neogama/BBH. He joined Mercado Livre in 2019, working in the Marketing department for both brands in Brazil – Mercado Livre and Mercado Pago. At the end of 2020, Iuri took on the leadership of Mercado Pago’s Branding division for Latin America and, starting 2024, he assumed the role of Branding Director for Mercado Livre in Latin America. In 2020, he led the Feed Parade campaign, which earned Mercado Livre its first Grand Prix and Gold awards at Cannes. Last year, he achieved Mercado Pago’s first medal at the festival. Last year he also celebrated Mercado Livre’s recognition as the most awarded brand with Brazilian cases at Cannes and Brand of the Year on Effie Awards Latin America.

Iuri holds a degree in Advertising from UNICAP and has specialized in Leadership at HEC Paris Business School. He recently completed his postgraduate studies in Neuroscience at PUCRS. Iuri is know for his passion for business-oriented branding strategies, transforming brand objectives and driving impact with scalability initiatives.
